Apartment
is still awesome! Fourth of July weekend rocked being so high in the burbs.
This weekend is going to be good because there are going to be fireworks really
close at the fairground. I can see the fair going on from our balcony.
We got Kitties!
Meet Thai and Porcelina (Lina for short). Thai is siamese and tabby mix and
about 3 months old and Lina is a Calico and 2 months old. They are getting along
great now. Actually they are sitting on my lap while I type and play wrestling.
They are great cats!
*June 26, 2005*
Finally moved into the apartment. Last night was probably one of the best nights
there so far. Bones and I were out on the balcony and we saw over 10 different
towns fireworks. It was amazing!!! The entire view is spectacular spectacular,
with seeing the Chicago skyline and all. I always dreamed of living in a place
where I am able to see the skyline like this. Then we watched The Aviator, but
I fell asleep. I need to start exercising so I have more energy. I have decided
to start playing bass again, since we have been on a hiatus recently. Everyone
has been so busy lately. I haven't really sat down to play in over a year. Here
and there every so often, but not like I should. I am going to change that.
I want to
play in a band again.
*May 20, 2005*
Pay day!! That put the weekend off to a good start. I love my job! I can honestly
say that, which I am extremely greatful for. Speaking of work, we have a fish
there made from an old television set. The fish are named after some of the
employees. Last Monday, we bougth a couple more; the very next day, mine died!
We took him back and I told the guy that my fish broke. He kindly replaced him.
My new fish seemed to be getting along just fine. Well, the very next day he
died too!!! So, we took him back again and I told him that this fish wasn't
working either. The guy said I could try another, but he thinks that since they
are aggressive fish that the tank might be at it's limit. It was horrible, they
were nibbling at my poor fish before it was even dead!
Rather than taking another chance on killing another poor fish, I decided to get a plastic alligator tank decoration (with a fish in it's mouth that ironically looks a lot like my first fish) with a sign that says "No Eating". I hope they listen!

Yeah, yeah...I know, I am really slow with these updates. I need to design
a new site so it is easier to update and more fun. I am pissed right now because
I just had to reset my palm pilot and lost a bunch of photos. Funny that it
is a hand-held organiser and I am not worried about the information. Just the
photos. That's a photographer
for you I guess. But still I love technology. Always
and forever!
I also was just
rummaging through my plam pilot photos (to see what was left after this unfortunate
mishap, and I just wanted to share some crazy ones with you...
Here you go!

Well since it has been over 3 months, I thought I was due to update. Unfortunately,
because school/work has been so busy for all of us at The 4th Phase camp these
past few months, we have not had time to do too much. Although, when the Gallery
is free, we have been trying to finish up our next recording. We are really
looking forward to it long awaited release and playing shows again soon. Other
than that, CB and I are working hard
at finding items for this year's Halloween festivities. It will be a blast!
On another note, I met one of my bass idols back in July... Check
it out!
*July 10, 2004*
Again, it has been a super long break since I last wrote, but school has gotten
even busier! The 4th Phase has even take a long break due to both Jeremy and
I being in school again. We do hope to play a show soon and to release our latest
recordings...they sound great!! On another note, my
brother is getting married on July 31st. I cannot wait, but I know that
I will be crying. I cry at those silly wedding shows on t.v., and I don't even
know the people!!! It will be a great time and I am so happy to finally have
a sister. Good luck and best wishes to both of you!!
*March 24,

Happy Birthday Nathan! I have
officially started my new jobs for the Robert Morris College newspaper called
The Eagle. One is to be the Webmaster
of their site, & the other is to be the Photo Editor. I am so excited because
I never really got very involved in many activities back in high school besides
bowling. (on a side note, one of my new friends and I just realized that we
bowled against each other at State...what a small world!) While attending RMC
just in my first quarter, I met so many great, & talented people that have
really made an impact on me just in the first few weeks going to RMC. Deciding
to attend college downtown has really opened up my eyes to so many different
things, & has also opened up many new avenues. Hope you can make it out
to our show this Saturday evening. It's a benefit show to help save the DuPage
Theatre. We have a lot of new material as well as the old, with a few surprises
to be heard.
*February 24, 2004*
Well, I think I am finally starting to catch up with myself and my sleep. I
started my second quarter of school today and so that means only 5 more to go!
I really like my classes though. I have another Visiting Artist class (with
a photographer, yea!), a painting class, a graphic design 2 class, and a philosophy
class. I think the painting class is going to cost me an arm and a leg though.
I can't wait for the Mates of State
show in March. It will be awesome to see them play their new material live.
I just LOVE their new album, "Team Boo."
*February 16, 2004*
Lately, I have so much to do, but not enough time to do it. Then I spend so
much time worrying about it and in the end still don't get anything completed.
I have been trying to get ForeverFrozen
updated, but I almost feel like just starting from scratch. School has been
going very well, but it has also been making me very stressed out at the same
time. Thankfully, I have today off work and tomorrow off school. Tonight, I
am meeting Bones for dinner which I am really looking forward to. Well, I am
off to get ready and then go out and shoot some photos.
*January 29, 2004*
My birthday was for the most part good. I went to school and Jeremy took me
to one of my favorite restaurants, Rock
Bottom. The only thing that put a kink in the whole day was that my family
had to put my dog, Buffy, to sleep. She
was almost 17 years old, so we unfortunately knew it was going to happen. Not
that it makes it any easier. I swear my family and holidays do not mix anymore.
*January 1, 2004*
First post of the new year! So far so good in 2004. Last night we went to a
party at LLR Records. It was a lot of fun, despite having the cops show up twice.
Luckily nothing bad happened to spoil the fun. The rest of the holiday season
was wonderful.
So the countdown begins... 26 days til my birthday!!
*December 9, 2003*
I did it! I made it through my first week of school. I really like it right
now. Everything pretty much got straightened out in the last few moments. So,
the countdown begins until April 2005. My first class is English, where I have
to write a research paper and then do an oral presentation (ahh!!) on a book
called "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe. Then my second class
is a 3-D modeling class. My third class is a visiting artist class and we have
to make a 20 page booklet on an artist named Jane Lackey.
My fourth and final class is a typography class. I am not sure which I like the best yet. I'll get back to you on that.
*November 24, 2003*
School is really frusterating me, and I have yet to start! I took the Metra
all by myself for the very first time last Thursday. It was quite fun, and I
made it to and from in one piece. This weekend was not too crazy, but I am sure
that will change very soon with the holidays. Hope you all have a wonderful
Thanksgiving and eat lots of turkey unless you are a vegetarian. But
you can still have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Happy early Birthday to my friend
Beth!!
*11.4.03*
Too many long breaks between posts. WOW! That was a loud crackle of thunder!
Getting back...we had a great practice last night. I have a hard time playing
thanks to Ted and his silly dance. He cracks me up! Last week, I decided that
I am going to go back to school and get my Bachelors Degree in Graphic Arts.
It was all kind of sudden and I start classes December 1st.
Halloween was a lot of fun. we got to dress up 3 nights in a row, which rocked! I went as "Elle Driver" (the nurse) from "Kill Bill." My accomplice, Bonez, went as none other than "Strongbad from homestarrunner.com." We are going to post some photos once developed.
*10.5.03*
GO CUBS!!
*9.24.03*
Happy Birthday Karen!!
We began recording last weekend, which was a lot of work, but a lot of fun as well. I haven't done to much yet, but hopefully Thursday I will get to record some bass tracks. I put a couple recording photos up on my "More Page."
Last week I was really sick with strep throat, so I don't have too many things to write about. I saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding like 4 times, which I really like, but that is a little much. I hate being sick...
*9.13.03*
The Wheaton Grand Theater show last
weekend went
very very well. We all had a lot of fun and hope to play there again in November
or December. Thanks to all who came!
We are going into the studio, none other than the Gallery
of Carpet, next weekend. It will be the very first recording with the new
lineup.
*8.27.03*
Happy Birthday to CK!! We will have to celebrate over some Coronas!!
I have two new cds to add to my collection: Washing Machine by Sonic Youth & Surfer Rosa by the Pixies. I haven't endulged in either band ever, so now is as good of time as ever. So far, I really like them both. Sonic Youth really takes me back to live Smashing Pumpkins.
On the homefront, we are still contacting venues about shows, but we hope to announce dates shortly. We are also working on new material.
*8.9.03*
The new layout for my personal page is starting
to iron out nicely. I am working on a couple different layouts/ideas similar
to this, so bear with me if I change things around.
Thanks to all who came to our show at Elbo Room last Tuesday night. Glad to see so many of you made it!!
At the moment, we are busy calling other venues that we sent press kits to, so be on the lookout for more shows in the near future.
